N3300 packing is manufactured from the finest quality natural yarns in a square braid construction, treated with PTFE and lubricants. The addition of lubricants minimizes shaft wear and allows for expansion during the break-in period. Being a well lubricated, medium-hard packing with very low frictional characteristics it assures minimal shaft wear. Ideal for marine use, low and medium pressure hydraulics, vacuum pumps, cold water, salt water and cold oils. Natural fiber packing is used for low pressure pump and valve applications in the pulp and paper, water/waste and mining industries.
