Hydraulic Seal
Bearing Man Group offers a wide variety of top-quality Hydraulic Seals for the industrial market. Our flagship brand Hallite is a well-known OEM supplier. Their Hydraulic Seals manufacturing processes ensures that all hydraulic seals leave the factory with the capabilities to give long service life, and reliable hydraulic sealing. With over a 100 years of hydraulic seals experience, Hallite should be your number one hydraulic seal choice. When you design a hydraulic cylinder, you should pay careful attention to the conditions in which the hydraulic seal in the cylinder works. Hallite hydraulic seals are important in the sense that they need to keep the hydraulic fluid in the system under extreme pressures. You will often find two sets of hydraulic seals in the cylinder. These hydraulic seals include the piston seal, and the gland seal, also known as the rod seals. These hydraulic seals are designed to keep pressurized fluid in the in the cylinder. The wiper, or scraper seal also plays a vital role in the hydraulic seal set. This seal is designed to keep contamination out of your hydraulic cylinder which is the leading cause of premature hydraulic seal failure. A normal wiper seal is not designed to keep oil pressure, so if you see leakage from the rod, you know you need to replace the rod seal in the hydraulic seal sett. To prevent metal to metal contact in a hydraulic cylinder, you need wear bands, or “bearings”. BMG offers a wide variety of wear strip or wear bands to fit any application. These wear-resistant rings guide the piston and rod which can extend the life of you hydraulic seals. Other hydraulic seals sold by Bearing Man Group include the buffer seal, chevron seal and swivel seal. BMG also offers a breakdown service on special manufactured hydraulic seals. We have three Seal Maker SMLE machine based in the East Rand, Cape Town and Durban. These fully automated machines allow for the processing of a wide variety of hydraulic seals with the capability of 10mm ID and up to 520mm OD perfect for standard and non-standard hydraulic seal sizes. Contact your local BMG for sizes, pricing and identifying of all your hydraulic seals needs
