Rathi N-Flex couplings consists of cast iron hubs and a set of "H" shaped highly resilient blocks which accommodates parallel, angular, and axial misalignment. The design reduces vibration and noise arising from severe torque fluctuations and are easy to assemble and disassemble. They are also suitable for reversing operation. Special H shaped inserts provide progressively increasing stiffness characteristics, hence ensure effective shocks and vibration absorption. The couplings do not require lubrication of any kind. The only wearing part is low cost inserts which makes the coupling economical in the long run.
