Self-tapping screws are screws that can tap its own hole as it is driven into the material. Countersunk design allows a screw to be �sunk� into a piece of lumber. Pozidriv head design ensures screwdriver head does not cam-out. Black Japan is a lacquer or varnish suitable for many substrates but known especially for its use on iron and steel. Its high bitumen content provides a protective finish that is durable and dries quickly.
