Spherical Roller Bearing, Tapered Bore

Spherical roller bearings have two rows of symmetrical rollers, a common sphered outer ring raceway and two inner ring raceways inclined at an angle to the bearing axis which allows for some misalignment of the shaft and the housing. They can support high radial loads and moderate axial loads. Spherical roller bearings are unequalled in their capacity for high loads and their tolerance to shock loads, but have limited speed capabilities. Fitted with tapered bore.
