These pulleys are manufactured from high grade iron (GG25), which can tolerate shock loading and achieve rim speeds of up to 40m/s. Precision machined grooves to protect and maximise belt live. Blackened to reduce corrosion, acts as an ideal primer and removes the need for cleaning coating agents prior to installation. The classic trapezoidal imperial pitch is the original tooth design. This tooth pitch is commonly used for conveying applications. The tooth profile is fairly low and has a large surface area at the tip of the tooth providing good support on sliding conveyor surfaces.
